Working across sectors, Lakeshore Food Rescue captures surplus food, directing it away from landfills and into local communities.
Through the Food Rescue Hero app, we connect donations with local nonprofits, who get food to the families who need it most.
By harnessing the power of volunteers - like you - we can make sure that good food ends up on tables, not in landfills.
Volunteer on your schedule.
Claim a route through the app when it’s convenient for you, or sign up for a recurring route at the same time, same place each week. Fill time in between classes, provide meaningful structure to your retirement, or gather the whole family for a hands-on way to demonstrate the power of community.
