Become  a Nonprofit Partner

Join the Lakeshore Food Rescue Network.

We work with an ever-growing network of nonprofit partners across Ottawa County, serving neighbors who are food insecure. From community centers, schools, churches, food pantries, and more, partners find increased connection to fresh, healthy food for their guests.

We focus on keeping food local and close to its source. Our team matches each food donation with a local organization that can most effectively connect food to those who need it most.

“Our clients are just so very happy that we are able to provide the rescue grocery program to them. You can hear it in their voices and see the excitement in their faces. It is truly an amazing program, we are so happy to have partnered with you.”

Ann Fletcher, St. Vincent de Paul Manager

“The Fresh Fridge provided by Community Action House has been a tremendous blessing for our students at Escape Ministries! Due to the added space of the fridge, we now have the capacity to store twice as much food such as fresh fruits, vegetables, and nutritious meals.  At the beginning of the year, we had a dream to start a breakfast program for our students, and the Fresh Fridge enabled us to accomplish our goal sooner than expected. Thank you, Community Action House!”

Janette Anaya, Escape Ministries

“It really allows us to feed students well, not just feed students what’s easy.”

AJ Westendorp, Escape Ministries
